What makes a casement "flush"?

On a standard casement, the opening part sits slightly proud of the frame. On a flush casement, it sits level with the frame, just as it would on a traditional timber window. With a chamfered outside edge and a sculpted inside, it has the clean lines and period proportions that suit Yorkshire stone cottages, Victorian and Edwardian houses and homes in conservation areas.

Period touches

• Dummy sashes, transoms and mullions, so every pane lines up neatly.
• Traditional monkey-tail handles and heritage hardware.
• Heritage colours and woodgrains such as Cream, Chartwell Green and Pebble Grey, plus white foil and colour-on-white options.
• Night-vent setting on standard casements.
• A good choice for bay windows, and for keeping much-loved stained glass.

Why choose uPVC instead of timber?

Timber looks lovely but swells, shrinks, warps and needs regular repainting. A uPVC flush casement gives you the timber look without the upkeep and meets the Building Regulations and the relevant British Standards.

All our windows are double glazed with energy-saving glass as standard. You can then upgrade room by room:
